I have always had a desire to sketch and paint, but it took a long time to get the nerve to leave the corporate rat race and to become serious about painting, about 12 years ago.

In making this drastic life-style change, I am thankful for having received good advice from excellent artists: Robert Genn, Dehai Wang and Lalita Hamill.

Even in those years of working in the business world, the few paintings I turned out were happily received by friends and relatives.

My offerings here have all been painted since my retirement from business and what fun it is! It was a struggle getting to this point of showing what I do to persons interested in seeing the art produced by this group of professional artists and myself.

I come from a line of men and women, all professional artists over the last 130 years: photographers, painters and musicians.

I appreciate this opportunity that West Fine Art Show has provided so that I may show you the results of my labours.
