Danyne Johnston is a North Shore Artist that loves to paint local biking and hiking trails in the forest as well as beautiful beaches and oceans of the West Coast. While painting plein Air or in her studio, she loves strong contrasts, lots of colour and rich shadows. Danyne likes to breath a sense of peacefulness into each piece. She was born in Canada and also has lived in South Africa and Australia where she gained an appreciation for the different personalities of light. As well as having her paintings in collections all over the world, Danyne also has her prints in the Sea to Sky Gondola shop. She’s an active member of the FCA and the North Shore Artist’s Guild and is in Vol. 4 of the Artists of BC series
