Catherine Traynor
Originally from Ontario, Catherine moved to British Columbia in 2009. Inspired to pick up her first paint brush, she began working in Acrylics, painting many different subjects. Today she is an Active Member of the Canadian Federation of Artists with an expanding body of work which now includes works rendered in the oil medium.
Surrounded by horses most of her life, these beautiful creatures sparked a new direction. Catherine's work now concentrates on Equines, a subject matter that she holds near to her heart. Working from this magnificent source of inspiration Catherine's portfolio has blossomed with canvases that communicate her artistic view of a happy and meaningful relationship with the equines in our midst.
