Tim Bennison is a lifelong watercolour painter and lives in North Vancouver with his wife and two daughters. Over the years, his subject matter has ranged from landscapes and architecture to portraits. He loves the challenges and rewards of watercolours, using the light and transparency of the medium to capture a moment in time.
Tim holds an MSc in mathematics and computer graphics, and had a 30-year career in the video game and visual effects industries, serving as Executive Producer and and COO for Radical Entertainment, Eight Solutions and Capcom Game Studio Vancouver. He currently serves on the board of DigiBC (the interactive and digital media industry association of BC).
Tim is now an emerging artist in North Vancouver. His recent exhibitions include the Harmony Arts Festival since 2015, North Van Art in the Garden in 2017, West Van City Hall Art in the Hallin 2018 (solo show), North Van Arts Crawl in 2019 and Hollyburn Eye Clinic Watercolour Visions of the North Shore in 2019 (solo show).
